Prayers for Peggy

On May 24th, Mrs. Peggy Blume was critically injured in a head-on collision on Route 31, just east of the village of Bridgeport, an accident that claimed the life of a Liverpool teen.

Peggy, a loving wife and devoted mother of three, has been severely traumatized with fractures to her neck, all limbs and other injuries that will require multiple surgical procedures. Ironically, Peggy had done all within her power to avoid the accident , coming to a complete stop on the side of the road.

A benefit will be held at the Bridgeport Fire Department from 12:00 – 5:00 on Saturday, September 18th 2010. All proceeds from this event will be directly presented to her family to help defray costs associated with her injuries during her long road to recovery.
